Inventory Capability Layer
Implemented an inventory consolidation layer to give clients a consistent interface to all backend network inventory applications. Used open source frameworks from Apache to reduce ongoing maintenance costs for the application. Supported synchronous and asynchronous transactions utilizing SOAP, REST and JMS. Supported over 12 million transactions a month. Had technology delivery responsibility for a multi-shore team of up to 45 resources, as well as up to 20+ resources from the client & other consulting firms who matrixed into the team.

MetaSolv Integration Layer
Integrated Oracle’s MetaSolv Inventory and Order Provisioning Solution with multiple backend systems. By integrating with Customer Ordering, Technician Dispatch, Device Activation and Buried Drop Provisioning systems it allowed for a large amount of the manual provisioning work to be automated and reduced the amount of time to fulfill customer orders. Had technology delivery responsibility for a multi-shore team of up to 25 resources.

Common Desktop Environment
Implemented and consolidated desktop for repair agents which gave them a single view of all applications needed to perform their day to day functions. This greatly reduced the amount of time required by agents to swivel chair between applications which reduced average handle time by over 20% and reduced the time to proficiency of new agents by over 80%.

Next Generation Dispatch
Implemented a service layer between @Road dispatching system and multiple client legacy systems utilizing WebLogic Integration servers. Utilized WebLogic Integration to expose SOAP web services that wrapped and aggregated other web services and CORBA APIs. Had technology delivery responsibility for a multi-shore team of up to 15 resources. To help ensure successful delivery I spent six weeks in India working directly with the offshore team.

Customer Web Portal
Implemented Embarq’s customer facing ecommerce web application with included a product catalog, shopping cart, and customer support. Utilized WebLogic Portal and WebLogic Integration servers. Had technology delivery responsibility for a multi-shore team of up to 12 resources.

Worked on many applications associated to the manufacturing domain including Route Accounting, Accounts Receivables and Electronic Data Interchange. The primary technologies used was COBOL on a HP 3000. I also developed a number of web applications utilizing Perl CGI scripts including building a Project Management application that I designed.
